Distracted by work, life and Mafia Wars on Facebook

I am addicted to mafia wars. Not sure why. All you are really doing is clicking on a button and then the screen tells you if you won money or won a fight. But still I'm addicted. To the point that I'm accepting (and sending) friend requests to people that I don't know but who happen to post comments on my friends Mafia Wars posts. Just so I can have a bigger Mafia and possibly fight other people with bigger Mafias and win more pretend money and go up to higher levels and buy more property and weapons.

*sigh*

But - in my defense, it's an lovely way to escape for a few minutes from the stress of work. Home office wants us to cut expenses but you can only cut back so many places before the employees say "this job ain't worth this crap" and they quit. Then guess what? Stores don't get serviced and when they do it's me driving my happy self all over the place to get there. Trying to line up interviews to make the trip worthwhile and then hopingthe person I decide to hire is going to work out. Spending time training somone only to have them not follow the proper procedure. But I digress....

I'm addicted to Mafia Wars. I get a sense of accomplishment getting a job up to the 100% mark. I get out my frustrations by attacking somone elses mafia. If they kill me - I don't really die and I can pay with some of my pretend money to be healed so I can fight some more. I'm so addicted I made my DH sign up so he can join my mafia and then I sign in to his facebook account so I can do more jobs and fights under his name. He said I could - I didn't just hack his account without him knowing it!

Maybe I need to get a hobby that involves physical activity. That wall make me too tired to log into the computer to play silly games. Did I mention I'm also addicted to Farm Town? And Pirates? Facebook is good for keeping up with friends far away. Facebook is also bad for seeing your family that lives in the same house as you.
